State leaders are currently negotiating the details of the FY2027 New York State Budget. Amid rising rates of food insecurity and unprecedented federal cuts, New York State must protect families’ access to SNAP and WIC. Join Hunger Solutions New York and our partners as we advocate for anti-hunger investments in the upcoming FY2027 state budget, including:
- Sustaining New York’s statewide network of SNAP navigators by funding NOEP at $8.5M.
- Providing $30M in supplemental funds to better support local WIC agencies and boost participation among eligible families.
