ICYMI: Breakfast Resource Round-Up

Use these resources to support your school breakfast operations and help start or sustain Breakfast After the Bell:

  • Explore Breakfast After the Bell service models: Identify which models are best suited to your program so that students can access meals conveniently and efficiently during the school day.
  • Bolster breakfast participation in middle and high schools: Adapt your program to gain student buy-in.
  • Provide school breakfast at no cost to all students: Compare funding options that create hunger-free schools (CEP, Provision 2, non-pricing).
  • Elevate breakfast to your school leadership: By amplifying the benefits of breakfast to your school administrators, you can garner buy-in, open lines of communication, and enlist advocates for your school meal programs.
  • Help teachers with Breakfast in the Classroom (BIC): Order free laminated tip cards from NYSED to provide teachers with guidance on accountability with BIC.
