Attention School Nutrition Directors: New Survey Coming Next Week! To kick off National School Lunch Week, we are excited to launch our new, statewide School Nutrition Director Survey developed in partnership with No Kid Hungry New York. Look out for the official survey link and details coming next week. The goal of this survey is to learn about the state of school meal operations in SY 2023-2024, including the top challenges faced by NYS directors and staff. These insights will inform our outreach strategy, resource development, and advocacy to support schools. |

Advocacy Alert: Amplify #Meals4AllNY during National School Lunch Week Join us during National School Lunch Week (October 10 – 13) by posting on social media to call for fully funding free school meals for all NY kids in the upcoming state budget. So far this year, over 550 more schools in New York are offering free school meals to all students. Even more NY schools will become eligible to start offering free school meals this school year, but an estimated 1,000 schools are still left behind.
