Provider Appreciation Day is an annual day of recognition for the educators who teach and care for young children in childcare homes and centers. This Provider Appreciation Day, join us in saying #ThankYouChildcare as we celebrate the thousands of providers who nourish New York’s children through the Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). CACFP is a federal program that reimburses eligible childcare and afterschool programs that serve healthy meals and snacks to kids in their care. Hunger Solutions New York provides tools, resources, and one-on-one guidance to help more programs participate in CACFP. Many programs are eligible for CACFP but are not participating. Provider Appreciation Day is a timely opportunity to raise awareness about CACFP and connect providers to our resources. |
