Attention Schools: Strengthen Your Universal School Meals Program with SNAP Outreach!

 

On January 28, a new rule under New York’s Universal School Meals Program went into effect, requiring participating schools to share information about SNAP with families. This final rule outlines how schools must meet the SNAP outreach requirement while also strengthening New York’s Universal School Meals program and child food security. We will share more information about the rule as it is available.
